Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Offgrid Digital website and any initial interactions you have with us through it. They are a general baseline only. Specific project work is covered in more detail by the proposal, invoice, or written agreement we send you for that job.

Using this website

You may browse and use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use it in a way that could damage the site or our systems.

We may update, suspend, or remove parts of the site at any time without notice.

Information on the site

We aim to keep the information on this website accurate, practical, and up to date. Even so, the site content is general information only and should not be treated as tailored business, legal, financial, or technical advice for your specific situation.

You are responsible for deciding whether our services, recommendations, or materials are suitable for your business.

Quotes, proposals, and client work

Any project scope, pricing, timing, deliverables, or support commitments are governed by the specific proposal, statement of work, invoice, or written agreement we give you. If there is any inconsistency between this page and a signed or accepted client agreement, the client agreement controls.

We reserve the right to decline work, change availability, or revise quotes before they are accepted.

What the services generally include

Our services may include website design and build work, content systems, templates, AI setup, workflow configuration, documentation, onboarding, and handoff support. The exact deliverables vary by project.

Because Offgrid Digital is built around practical ownership and portability, many projects include setup in your own accounts, documentation, and some level of handover so you can operate the system yourself. That said, no particular feature, integration, revision round, migration task, or support period is implied unless it is specifically included in writing.

Payments

Where we issue invoices or accept payments online, you agree to provide accurate details and to pay the amounts due under the agreed terms. Online payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe.

Late payment, chargebacks, taxes, refunds, deposits, milestone releases, and ownership handover may be handled in the relevant proposal or invoice terms where applicable.

Client responsibilities

To do the work properly, you may need to provide timely feedback, accurate information, required approvals, and access to the accounts, platforms, content, or systems involved in the project.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to give us any content, data, credentials, assets, or instructions you provide, and for keeping your own account access secure once it is under your control.

  • Providing source materials, brand assets, and business information needed for the job.
  • Reviewing drafts, prototypes, templates, or setup decisions within a reasonable time.
  • Maintaining your own third-party subscriptions, domains, hosting, or software accounts unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
  • Checking final deliverables before publishing, sending, or relying on them in a live business context.

Revisions, approvals, and handover

Where a project includes revisions, they are intended for refining the agreed scope rather than repeatedly redefining it. Major scope changes, extra rounds, or new features may require a revised quote or separate work.

Once deliverables are handed over, published, approved, or moved into your accounts, you are responsible for their ongoing operation unless we have separately agreed to provide maintenance or support.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website, including copy, branding, layout, and original materials, belongs to Offgrid Digital or is used with permission.

Client ownership, licensing, source files, handover rights, and third-party software licences for project work are handled in the relevant client agreement. In plain terms: what you own, what we retain, and what is third-party licensed should be defined in writing for each project.

AI, automation, and content outputs

Some projects involve AI-assisted research, drafting, classification, automation, prompt systems, or local AI infrastructure. Those tools can be useful, but they are not perfect and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable outputs.

Unless we explicitly agree to a verification service, you are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs before relying on them for business, legal, compliance, financial, publishing, or customer-facing use. We do not warrant that AI outputs will be error free, continuously available, or fit for every purpose.

Third-party platforms and operating costs

Many deliverables rely on third-party services such as domain registrars, hosting providers, Canva, payment processors, analytics tools, AI providers, email tools, or software subscriptions. Those services are outside our control and may change pricing, features, terms, or availability.

Unless explicitly included, ongoing subscription fees, hosting fees, domain renewals, API usage charges, and third-party licensing costs are your responsibility.

No guaranteed business outcome

We aim to build practical systems that are clear, usable, and durable. But we do not guarantee a particular commercial result such as rankings, traffic, leads, sales, time savings, platform approval, or return on investment unless we expressly say so in writing.

Examples, estimates, and recommendations are based on the information available at the time and should be understood as guidance rather than guaranteed outcomes.

Third-party services and links

This website and our services may rely on or link to third-party tools, providers, platforms, or websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or policies of third-party services.

Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Offgrid Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.

We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.

Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top will be revised accordingly.
